Prom.

Hello,
So last night (27th July) was my school's ball/prom. It was such a lovely evening after not seeing the majority of those people for 3 weeks or so. I thought I would show you a few photos of my prom look from the night. I was complemented many times in which I am grateful for. I'm not going to ramble on as I will probably do a post on some more pcs once my school has uploaded them.
so  here we go...
if you have had your prom this year I would love to know how it went, so comment below.

GOSH!

Hello,
So I was browsing the Superdrug website and took a (accidental) visit  to the part of the website where they do amazing deals.
So I took a look and saw they had a deal upon gosh either face or eyes. Now I have a thing for eye products I seem to have a habit of collecting eye makeup, but I took the plunge and ordered this(although I did not need it).
The whole box was £20, which I thought was an amazing deal.
All the products cost between the £6-£10 price range so getting 4 for £20 was something I wouldn't miss out on.
The box includes;
  •  A eye shadow palette, with stunning nudes and purples, the colours are very pigmented from what I have swatched. ( But i'm sure in the near future I shall do a review on it.)
  • A Brow palette, with 3 brow colours and a wax.
  • Volume control mascara.
  • A eyebrow setting gel.

Sienna X / Illuminating pencils

Hello,

So Sienna X is a brand I've heard of but never really took a chance on. I got these trio of Illuminating pencils for Christmas and only recently started using them. I have always been a one trick pony when it comes to eye shadow, always sticking to the powders. Since its become some what hotter in the UK, I have started t wear these eve shadows, and they work amazingly.Since they are creamy they are long lasting and don't sweat off which I find some powders can do!

Although they have great colour pay off they do crease abit, but for an everyday look I don't mind. They add some shimmer onto your eyelid that compliments all eyes.

I Feel like these would be perfect for festivals or summer party's, or even on holiday since they are slightly waterproof.

Thank you for reading.

No7 // Instant radiance

Hello,
No7 is a brand of makeup that I have always sworn by. I feel like their products are beautifully packaged and are high quality, and for a good price,Bonus!.

I have been wanting a new highlighter for a while and saw this in my local boots and got it (obviously). This is almost like a dupe for the Clinique cream highlighter, But for half the price.
hat I love about this highlighter is that is so easy to apply and blend, It is very natural and long lasting. Its not too pigmented, so wont make you look like you've dived into a pool of glitter, it is very subtle but beautiful.
Since its summer its perfect for the hot days, where a powder highlighter might spoil
I would defiantly buy this again..
I 100% will be wearing this on my prom makeup look.(which is in less than 2 weeks, eek!! I cant wait to show you all my dress and hair and makeup)

What's your favourite highlighter ?

Thank you.

Makeup mishaps

Hello,

So, we all had that period in their life that lets just say.... ummm we wouldn't want to repeat.
Yes, its the time where you would be just starting out with makeup. Now I have come up with a few 'Makeup Mishaps' which I'm sure you would have done at least one or maybe.. just maybe twice. But its okay cause we've all learnt from our mistakes.

(Before I start I am not singling people out I am doing things that I once did so I'm kind of taking the mic out of myself)

Okay so here we go...

1. The two shades darker than you are:

I know that if your either trying a new brand or starting outwith foundation, it may be a pickle trying to find your shade. Just don't.. please don't pick one up at random and purchase. We all see those 2 toned darker than they are  girls in the streets, with that orange line right on their jawline.

2. The hot hot flushed cheeks:
Now subtle wasn't exactly a thing back in the day, and apparently neither was the apples of your cheeks. Lets be honest ladies, we've all done the apply the brightest pink all over out cheeks, and looking like we've been hit in the face look. Wasn't the best look was it??

3. The Black Eye?
Now for me this was my personal struggle. Blending was no such thing back then, I mean I only had those little sponge brushes, to apply. You know those  Junior school discos where you wore the brightest of the blue eye shadows and wore it as high as you could, because you thought you belonged on the front cover of  Vogue.

4:Wings like an eagle.

Now, im not a pro at winged eyeliner anyway, but covering your whole eyelid with liquid eyeliner trying to straighten up that eyeliner line, isn't the best look.

Let me know if you did, or know of anyone who has done this.

Martha.
