August favourites

Hello it's me again ,

I've never done a favourites post but I have found loads of new products that I have been loving and I wanted to share with you. This favourites will include fashion , beauty and music .so let's get on with it ...

Fashion 

The only major fashion item that I've been loving is these block wedged sanders from primark.

I have to admit I rarely shop in primark but I saw these shoes and fell in love , I was going to purchase the ones in topshop that were exactly the same but overpriced . I have been wearing these everywhere m they're so comfty and well made , and yeah I love them .

Beauty

So I have found loads of new beauty products whether it's for your skin or makeup and I would recomend all of these products .

The first beauty item is the bourjous mega liner . When it comes to eyeliners I'm very picky but I saw this and gave it a try and it's amazing , it's so light it has a curved pointed pen bit , perfect for the winged eyeliner and it last all day without smudges !!

Next is my Rimmel 'wonderFULL' mascara , I've already written a review about it  -> Rimmel review 

So I won't go on , but it makes your eyes look bigger and it last all day with just one appliance .

The collection eyebrow palette , I never have really brought eye powers for my brows , I've had pencils but my eyebrows are already quite defined , so I tried this and it's amazing. It just gives you that extra something to your eyebrows to make them bolder . I am defiantly a girl who always includes a eyebrow routine when going out . So I would recommend this .

Next is this body butter from superdrug , this has been amazing , it swells like HEAVEN . This body butter is the cherry and macadamia and tbh I only brought it for the smell at first but since wearing it my skin feels smoother and umm smells nicer . Plus it's not expensive i think it was like £3 and a 

little bit goes along way !!

Face masks, in the past face masks would if been the last things I would of purchased just because my skin is so sensitive that I just end up with no decent result apart from a red face . But these ones from superdrug have been working for me as it says they're for sensitive skin . I have to admit I've only tried two so whether they all are correct for my skin is a diffrent story , but they leave my skin feeling soft and clean .

How to style a simple skater // autumn winter style

Hello everyone, 

So I was rummaging through my wardrobe , sorting out clothes and came across my miss selfridge oxblood skater skirt . As we are approaching autumn I thought it be fun to style up this skater skirt . I have got more autumn winter styling post to come .

Autumn and winter are my favourite time's of the year , I just enjoy layering and being cosy .I got this skirt about a year ago at the Oxford street shop .  I have no clue if they have it in stock but I'm sure most shops sell skater skirts .

• Style 1•

With this I used my oxblood , HM top with a dolly bow on . This top is very light so I thought in the cold weather you'd need a extra layer so I pared it with my Laura Ashley jacket and a little bowler  hat .[ Hat ] . This outfit is very casual but stylish .

• Style 2 •

I styled this as a bit more dressy casual , my top is from wallis , it has a jeweled neckline with I love !! I tucked the top into the skirt to give it a baggy look and tied a simple black ribbon around the waistline . 

•Style 3•

I just love this jumper so much , it's great quality fabric , it's super cosy and comfty . I got it from http://www.adolescentlifestyle.com , they aren't a big brand but I will defiantly purchase more jumpers from them . I love jumpers with wordings on , it makes an outfit look fun .

Going out outfit // OOTD

So I have never really done a fashion post . This year I've tried to get out of my comfort zone of leggings and baggy tops and bland colours . I have been going out in more adventurous colours like yellow . But  today I really liked my outfit that I was going shopping in today so I thought I'd share it with you . All of these items are from Miss Selfridge ,I don't recall buying these products to recently , I think I got them march / April time .  I have tried to find he products but they seem to have gone , but I have found the same style but different colour which I'm in love wit<  Coat is from > these longline coats are perfect for any season of the year , although I brought mine for £69  I feel like it was worth the money and I prefer spending abit more money on a item made of good materials than a cheap item that won't last . This year I've tried to get out of my comfort zone
My play suit I'm in love with it's got the monochrome vibe to it , which I'm addicted to .the orange belt gives it a nice touch . The fabric is extremely good quality , it's in the middle of not too thick and not too thin material so it's perfect for any season as in the autumn/ writer season you can pair it with tights . The top half is high necked and the bottom isn't too short . The suit is super flattering on your figure .
 I can't find the play suit on the webpage but I have seen it in the stores and I know it's gone down in price , so if you see it I'd recommended it .

My boots are from amazon and are simple military boots , they have lasted ages , weren't expensive at all . I wouldn't say they were the comfiest shoes but for £15 you wouldn't expect high quality comfort .

Boots

The milkmaid braid //. How to

so recently I have been obsessed with the milkmaid braid . when I wear it I get loads of complements on how good it looks , also asking how I have the patients .It may look like a complicated hair style , but honestly its so simple , and perfect for the hot summer weather . This hair style is perfect for a casual day out or a night out .

all you need for this hair style is ...

•  bobby pins (hair slides)
• hair bands (go for a colour near to the same as your hair , or the clear elastics )
• a hair brush.

1. So first thing you do is brush your hair out to get rid of any knots lurking about .
2. Part your hair down the centre , and gather your hair on each side , just like the old junior school pigtails .
3. Next do a simple braid down to the bottom of that part of hair and tie it and the bottom with your elastic. Repeat on the other side .
4. so next carefully lift on plait up to the top of your head , and pin through the middle of your elastic to your head .

   5. repeat

Just add a few more hair slides (if needed ) and that's it , a simple hairstyle that looks amazing .

3 simple boho 2 minute hairstyles for school

Back to school is fast approaching ! we all dread the first day back yet we want to look at least half decent since you haven't seen some people in 7/8 weeks . For me when waking up for school it's all about the quicker the better ! So I have thought up 3 hairstyles that litrially take less than 3 minutes .

I struggle with quite a few hair styles due to the fact I have loads of layers , but I prefer messier hairstyles so it works for me .

These are 3 of the simplest hairstyles that have the boho feel to them and look amazing !

The halo braid 

This hairstyle is so easy but so pretty . All you need to do is get a strip of hair from each side of your head , but make sure this strip is under another clump of hair . Then do a normal everyday braid all the way down that strand then lift it up and pull it to the other side of your head and secure with a hair pin . Do the same on the other side . Once done place bits of hair over the pins so they are covered , and that's it .

This hairstyle is always a winning one as I always get compliments and my friends ask me how it's done .!

Side braid with a diffrence 

So like I mentioned I struggle with the layers in my hair but I just adore braids ! This is a half tied up half down look . All you do is sweep your hair to one side ,take the top half and do a braid all the way down , to secure it I'd go for a transparent hair brand . Then like I said half is down so you just secure the leftover hair with pins. You can curl the hair that's just laying flat but my hair is naturally wavey/ messy .

How could I not include this well loved hairstyle , I practically live my life with my hair like this .

I'm pretty sure you don't need to be told how to do this hairstyle since the hairstyle name explains itself .

These are my favourite school hairstyles , they last all day and tend to be complimented on . The boho feel gives it a nice touch .

Rimmel 'wonderFULL' mascara review

Rimmel have just produced another mascara , and it would be wrong of me to not try it out . I have always been a big fan of Rimmel but mainly for they're eyeliners and found danios powder. When it comes to mascara recently I haven't been trying new things I've been sticking to my favourites of the Clinique 'high impact ' and the soap and glory mascara. 

I was in my local town , and stopped by boots , this mascara was on promotion and I recall it havering £2 off the price , so I purchased it for £5.99 , which for a mascara is quite cheap . I have found a new firm favourite in this mascara . It last all day without a doubt . Inside the mascara formula is argan oil in , causing it to soften your lashes . It doesn't clump together , this is one of my biggest issues when I buy mascara , but this one expands them to a reasonable size making your eyes look bolder and brighter . Finally this mascara isn't bulky , by this I mean it does feel like your wearing mascara . 

I would recommend this mascara if your hunting for a new one , I will defiantly repurchase this over and over ( unless I come across a new favourite ) but this is a firm favourite of mine . Rimmel never let me down with they're products .

My holiday favourites / essentials

 So recently I have been on holiday to the sunny Antigua (( well also there was a storm but let's just say it's sunny okay )) . Going to a hot climate always means I get the chance to try out new products , which is always exciting .  

These are some of the products that I was loving on holiday ...

The calcot manor products have always been a favourite of mine as they are inexpensive and help improve your skin. This dry body spray is what I used every night , it moisturises your skin and smells amazing . I could feel a massive improvement in my skin once I used this product . One squirt of this spray can go a long way .

 Another thing I loved was this matrix oil treatment for my hair . As I was in the sun and sea a lot my hair got dry very quickly so about 2 times a week I would use this as a overnight treatment . In the morning I felt a vast improvement . My hair was soft and smooth .

Hair products were the main things that I took with me on holiday. Aussie have always been my favourite shampoo and conditioner brand as I always find that my hair is fuller and softer . I saw this product in boots and of course purchased it . Yet again Aussie haven't let me down , this product is so easy to apply into your hair and smells amazing. I will be purchasing this product again . 

Facial products are always hard for me to find as I have really sensitive skin causing some products to leave me with rashes , which isn't good . This exfoliating facial scrub was literally my favourite thing , it made me feel refreshed and left my skin feeling soft all day .

I always struggle with eye product and water ,its  like a battle between the pair and the makeup seems to loose quickly ! But .... This 'vintage 3blush  eyeshadow' lasted all day ( I mean that ). It's such a lovely colour and makes you look awake , aswell as giving your eyes a little shimmer . It's so easy to apply as it's just a swipe across your eyelids .
